'CHURCH ON THE STREET'
Once a month, every Saturday, between 2.30-3pm, with the Local Council's blessing and just in front of the 'Clock Tower' in Newton Abbot Town Centre, a group of us from Newton Abbot Christian Centre, worship and preach
a relevant Gospel message.............

The simple aim, is to allow people to have a brief experience of...‘Church'....on the Street’, for God to bless those who wouldn’t usually
set foot
into a ‘church building’!

Our church is actively involved in promoting 'Street Pastors' in Newton Abbot which 'Launches' on Sunday 27th June 2010 at 'The Avenue Methodist and URC' church, Newton Abbot at 3pm.....All are welcome!

'NEWTON ABBOT CARNIVAL PRAISE'

At 3pm on Sunday 11th July 2010 at the 'bandstand in Courtenay Park Newton Abbot, there will be a 'Celebration of Worship' led by Major Dawn McGarvey (Salvation Army) and Paul Wright (Newton Abbot Christian Centre), also endorsed by 'Churches Together' in Newton Abbot.
A Salvation Army Band will play traditional worship hymns, followed by a church worship band from Kingsteignton Christian Baptist Church (K.C.B.C).
A brief but relevant message will be preached by Paul at this time......

| BREAKTHROUGH 'No2'- NEWTON ABBOT - MAY 2009 |

On Saturday 2nd May 2009, at the 'Daphne Collman Hall'
Newton Abbot College, there was an Evangelism outreach event to youth
with 'Live' bands 'The Flanders Conspiracy' and 'Loaded'.
'Focus on Media' http://www.focusonmedia.co.uk/ did a great job of the
Sound ystems. About 50+ came and all who did and took part were
greatly blessed !
Pippa Quelch' of BBC Radio Devon interviewed Paul about
the May 'Breakthrough' event in Newton Abbot on 19th April 2009.

7th SEPT 2008 (2.30-5.30pm) - EVANGELISM EVENT
Thank you for all your support, ‘ servant-heart’ help and prayers towards hopefully, the first of many.Breakthrough Newton Abbot’ events.
A dear friend and brother, Bob Mann, put it so well, when he said the
following,
about our first ‘Breakthrough’ events:
“The Lord has just given me a picture of a pebble being dropped into a pond and the ripple from that pebble emanating outwards getting bigger and bigger. I feel that the ramification of this event will take time to come to fruition like the ripples in the pond as we only see the effect in the pond, when the water laps the edges.
Bless you for starting those ripples, I'm sure the Lord will take you on to do greater things for him.” |
